Concrete floors????

With the mishap of our tile floor I have considered just doing a stained concrete floor with a gloss put on top. They seem like such a easy floor to take care of with no grout. Without big rugs though they probably would make a room seem cold.

Has anybody seen concrete floors done in a home & what did you think?  Too cold?
